Find out about Joe Dias
Joe Dias was born in Carlisle on 1st May 1956. Joe studied Fine art at Carlisle College of Art and Design and then at Newcastle-upon-Tyne Polytechnic from 1976 to 1979 where he gained a 2-1 honours degree in Fine Art and in 2008 he completed an MA in Contemporary Fine Art at the University of Cumbria.
Joe lives at Raughton Head near Carlisle, he is married with two daughters.

He was commissioned by the BBC to provide a piece of work called Across Derwent Water for the Radio Cumbria foyer in Annetwell Street, Carlisle.
